About
Slow Clock is a small reference about aging well, written in plain language. The field it covers is full of big promises; the site's job is to be the calm page that says what a term actually means, what looks well-established, and what is still genuinely argued about.
How entries are written
Descriptively. Entries summarise mainstream, publicly available knowledge and mark uncertainty where it exists — "appears to", "is debated", "evidence is thin" are load-bearing phrases here, not decoration. Entries link to institutional further reading and get updated when we learn better; each shows its dates.
What we refuse to promise
Protocols, "anti-aging" shopping lists, and certainty we don't have. We're careful readers, not clinicians or researchers — decisions about your health belong in a conversation with professionals who know you.
